I'm Jaime — engineer by training, architect by trade.

I'm a computer engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I started out as a full-stack web developer, but infrastructure kept pulling me in, and I moved into information technology for good. That was over seven years ago.

Today I work as an AWS Solutions Architect, and most of my job happens before a single resource is deployed: sitting with a client, understanding what they actually need, and turning it into an architecture that holds up. It's half technical design and half translation — between what the business is asking for and what the cloud can realistically do. The six AWS certifications are there because that conversation goes better when you know the services first-hand.

Away from the keyboard I like being outdoors: running, cycling, skiing and diving, plus travelling whenever I can. It keeps me curious and open-minded, which turns out to be the same thing this job asks for. If something here is useful to you, or you just want to talk shop, write to me.
